What are your thoughts on people who hate on the Lakers more than they root for their own team?
It’s quite prevalent on this section, sadly.
I’m not going to drop any names, but there are people who spend more time and energy hating on the Lakers than rooting for their own team.
If you ask me, those are the losers in life.

Racists, such as Skinheads and Clan Members, have rights, too, you know. It’s called freedom of speech, but it doesn’t excuse their behavior.

Because of a little thing I like to call: jealousy. I am honored to be a Laker fan and to grow up in the L.A. County, and I have no issues to hate on other teams… why? Because I am a fan of an organization that fails to fail. The Lakers are the richest fanshise in practically all sports. Imagine if you were a Charlotte Bobcat fan… of course you have issues and would hate, because your team is garbage (with all due respect). The only team us Laker fans really bash is the Celtics… and they do to us too, and that’s because while we hate each other, we have a mutual respect because of our history and two impressive legecies. Otherwise, everyone else hates because they hate seeing us happy. It’s sad, they should get lives and just root for their team. But then again, that’s part of the reason why the Lakers are as successful as they are: everyone need their haters to drive them to success.
