Exercise Floor Protector
How much time does a guinea pig need exercising each day?
we are getting 2 baby guinea pigs for christmas. they will be kept outside when im at school in their 2 floor hutch. we have a lot of foxes near us so in the day we will have a hutch protector which will keep coldness and predators away. we will have to be outside with them when they can excercise in their run so i need to know how long we are going to need to let them in their run.(we will sometimes let them inside to roam around)thankyou!
They need like an hour of floor time or outside time a day. That can be seperated into two half hour sessions or four 15 minute sessions if you want. Easier to do it in two half hours though.
But Why not just keep them inside? It’s easier on the pigs.
Plus if you’re getting them from a pet store or a rescue they’ll find it hard being outside all the time as pet stores and shelters and such keep their guinea pigs inside.
